Unfortunately not. The bonding agents for tooth gems can only adhere to natural tooth tissue.
The gems used are lead free, non toxic, flat back crystals. They are totally safe for oral use. These gems are typically Swarovski or Preciosa.
In the event that a gem is swallowed, they will not cause damage as the gems are smooth and have no sharp edges. It will come out the "natural way".
The application is completely painless. The procedure is similar to placing an orthodontist bracket on a tooth.
When properly applied, tooth gems will not harm the tooth in anyway.
